Our state-of-the-art laser treatments offer a wide range of dermatologic treatments for your skin. The use of lasers in dermatology has increased dramatically due to many innovations in technology that allow different lasers to perform different tasks. Lasers can improve many skin lesions, sometimes dramatically. Certain lasers require several treatments to achieve best results, while others may require fewer. Some lasers have minimal recovery time, while others may require more healing time. It is important to discuss the specifics of the condition you wish to treat and the type of laser indicated for this purpose.
Our laser treatments are administered by Dermatology Skin Care Specialists who are professionally trained on each laser treatment we offer. Most importantly they are trained and supervised by Dr. Tallman. We don’t believe that lasers should be operated by anyone without a board-certified dermatologists’ supervision. Laser treatment times and prices vary according to the area treated. Click on the link below for more information.

Remarkable results you can see and feel
Fraxel re:store™ laser treatment is a revolutionary new way to correct aged and damaged skin – without the prolonged downtime or adverse reactions of other resurfacing procedures. Safe and effective, the Fraxel re:store™ laser is cleared by the FDA and has undergone extensive testing in the lab and out in the field.
Fraxel re:store™ treatment is the accepted gold standard for treating these conditions:
Acne scars • Periorbital wrinkles • Melasma (mask of pregnancy/hormonal pigmentation) Irregular texture • Sun spots and age spots (pigmented lesions) • Aging skin • Sun damaged skin • Enlarged pores • Fine lines & wrinkles, especially around the mouth & eyes
How it works
With Fraxel re:store™ treatment, you get dramatic results without going under the knife. Instead, Fraxel re:store™ laser treatment uses points of light to precisely treat thousands of microscopic areas of your skin. The treatment penetrates deep into the skin to remove old, damaged skin cells, stimulates your body’s own natural healing process, and replaces the cells with fresh, glowing, healthy skin.
Because the technology is so precise, Fraxel re:store™ treatment works not only on the face, but also on delicate skin areas like the neck, chest and hands.
Rather than removing the entire outer layer of skin, as ablative laser resurfacing does, fractional resurfacing uses a very narrow column of light, targeting and destroying microscopic areas while leaving healthy cells surrounding the destroyed tissue intact. This allows for quick healing and reduced pain. The healthy cells left behind aid in the healing process. Collagen production is stimulated, the skin tightens and pigmentation is normalized.
Typically three to five sessions are required (spaced about three to six weeks apart) for complete treatment depending upon skin condition and treatment. This gradual process is safer and healthier for your skin and involves only mild discomfort during the procedure. In order to make sure that your treatment is as pain free as possible, you will have numbing cream placed on the areas being treated for one hour prior to treatment (so plan on arriving early), and cold air will be used during the treatment. After Fraxel treatment, the area treated tends to experience some mild swelling for about two days, followed by about a week of mild to moderate redness and peeling. After the first two days, you look like you have sunburn, which lasts about a week.
During your free initial consultation, our laser technicians will evaluate your unique needs and explain the procedure in detail. You will have the opportunity to view before and after photos to ensure that you will know what to expect from the treatment. After your treatment our staff will instruct you on the best techniques to care for your skin to maintain your healthy new look.
With the revolutionary Fraxel re:store™ laser treatment, you can get improved skin tone, plumping of acne scars and surgical scars, reduced wrinkles and fine lines and smoother skin texture. All in a series of treatments with minimal downtime or discomfort.
Fraxel treatment is recommended in a series of 3-5 treatments.

Introducing the V-Beam Perfecta - the industry's gold standard for treating redness with little or no bruising. Our new Perfecta is fast, visibly effective, and comfortable.
The V-Beam laser is a pulsed dye laser used to treat conditions such as rosacea, facial or nasal veins, birthmarks, port wine stains, redness in scars, rejuvenation or any other condition with blood/redness as the primary target.
The light is absorbed by the blood vessels in your dermis. The destroyed vessels are then reabsorbed by the body during the natural healing process.
Side effects from this treatment may include bruising, redness, and swelling in the treated area. These should not last for more than several days. We recommend a minimum of 3 treatments for you to receive optimal results.

Tattoo removal has evolved to the point that only one laser is required to remove all ink-colors. Tallman Medical Spa has one of the most effective lasers used today for laser removal. The laser removes tattoo ink using the energy of light. Our Medlite Yag™ laser removes inks by generating a variety of specific wavelengths of light that target different ink colors. Light passes into the skin and is absorbed by the ink. The rapid absorption of light energy causes the tattoo ink to break into tiny particles, which can then be removed by the body’s natural filtering systems. The laser can remove professional and amateur tattoos, and permanent cosmetic makeup.
On the average, professional tattoos require 6-8 treatments, while amateur tattoos require 4-5 treatments, all spaced approximately 6-8 weeks apart. The number of treatments depends on the amount, type, and color of ink used, and the depth of the ink in the skin.
Clients report a sensation from the light-pulsed energy that is similar to the snap of a small rubber band. The treatment can be painful; however we do offer local anesthesia to numb the area at no additional charge.
Following the treatment, the tattoo’s appearance may fade more than 96%, often erasing it completely. Results vary depending on the type of ink used in the tattoo, the depth of its application and the color. See before and after photos of Medlite® Yag laser treatments.
Dark (blue, black) and red inks respond most favorably to the treatment. Oranges and purples usually fade as well. Green, light blue and turquoise inks are the most challenging to remove and additional treatments are needed to produce significant fading.
The laser provides maximum tattoo removal while leaving the surrounding skin unharmed. Occasionally, pinpoint bleeding may be associated with the treatment. Patients must be careful about sun exposure prior to, during, and after laser treatments due to risk of hypopigmentation (lightening) of the treated area. The cost of treatment varies according to the size of the area to be treated and will be determined by a laser technician during your complimentary consultation.

This procedure uses a non-ablative laser, Nd:Yag, so there is no skin removed. There is minimal discomfort and feels like a warm prickly sensation. The laser stimulates collagen production, resulting in the reduction of acne scars and fine lines. Patients have reported seeing a reduction in their pore size as well. The treatment is safe and effective with little risk of complications. After the treatment, you may experience redness which should fade within an hour. Sun avoidance is recommended and sun protection should be applied regularly. Gentle skin care products should be used to care for your skin after the treatment. For optimal results, we recommend a minimum of 4-6 treatments spaced at least one week apart.
Rejuvenation $350
Acne treatment $100 per treatment

For this treatment we use the Nd:Yag Laser. The light from the laser is absorbed by the pigmented lesion, and the unwanted pigment is then destroyed. This will either remove or lighten the lesion.
During the treatment, you may feel some heat and a stinging or a prickling sensation. When treating larger areas such as the face, a topical numbing cream is used to lessen the discomfort of the procedure. The spot(s) will become darker over the next couple of days and it will take an average of 10-14 days for spots to slough off. You can do everything that you would normally do, however the first few days, do not scrub or pick at the lesions. It is important not to pick at them because it will not allow the lesions to heal properly and will increase the risk of scarring. You absolutely must wear a good sunblock while allowing the entire sloughing process.
One or two treatments is usually enough to treat most lesions, but some deeper lesions may require more treatments. This procedure does not work for melasma and cannot be performed on tanned or colored skin.

GentleLASE is a laser hair removal technology offering safe, effective and permanent hair reduction. GentleLASE uses advanced, "gentle" laser technology, eliminating the pain and inconvenience of shaving, tweezing, or waxing unwanted hair. Laser treatments – even of large areas such as the legs, back, or chest – take a fraction of the time of other hair removal methods.
GentleLASE lasers have the patented Dynamic Cooling Device (DCD™) that sprays the upper layers of skin with a fine mist of cryogen prior to each laser pulse. This cooling technology minimizes pain, protects the top layer of skin, and enables the laser energy to gently reach and treat hair follicles.
This treatment works best on dark colored hair. It is ineffective on blonde, red or gray hair, and we are unable to laser tan or dark-colored skin.
The average number of treatments needed is between 6 and 8, with a minimum of 4 weeks in between treatments. Call for pricing for specific areas.
